Reading this light-hearted show-biz novel made me very happy! With a sad past, MC finds happiness in minor things, a person with a high IQ and EQ. Though wealthy, ML is a lonesome, tormented soul, MC's positivity is a salve for him, and he's inclined to do anything to safeguard the only warmth in his life... You would want to root for these two and celebrate every outcome in their lives and relationship.

The author has always satisfied me! Her writing is heart-warming, like many other stories, even in BL novels. Although this novel takes place in the entertainment world, there's no drama between the two leads, and even if there is a problem, it's because some people want to stir up trouble.

I like how the author used the theme of rebirth as the sounding board in a villain character, and not all cannon fodder was bitch slapped to death. Overall it's a heartwarming showbiz novel. The author concentrated her spicier and edgy drama writings on her ancient China novels.

The author has this way of writing with a charm that makes you think that even if problems come in the couple's way, they will still stand firm and face it together, holding hands. This writing style reassures your soul as a reader watching the two main lead journeys falling in love while falling in love with the story yourself.

MC is adorable, cute, kind-hearted, and has morals and bottom limits. He might seem too innocent and pure, but he is not an innocent white lotus who knows nothing of the world because he is also an adult. It is also one reason why I like this type of MC because there are more authors out there that portray their main lead as an innocent and pure person while they are already grown up, which is incredibly unrealistic. This kind of MC fits my taste so well.

The writer is excellent with slice-of-life scenes; this novel was the same. I like MC's bubbly personality and ML's doting character. There's an instant in the story where the ML could have turned Yandere like in so many novels, but the good thing about this is how the ML expresses affection as humane and genuinely places the person they love in their hands. As MC said, when you truly love someone, you can't bear to make them sad.

The Weibo fans are adorable; their remarks usually add comedy. Antagonists are not the usual canon fodder - they have their charm at times, showing that they, too, are human with their thoughts and plans.

Together, the MC and ML are very cute - their heartwarming interactions, plenty of face-slapping, and lots of humor make for a fantastic read - recommended! And also, check out the author's other works! They're good!
