I dodge stories established in an omegaverse, as they include problematic facets of sexism and prejudiced and nonconsensual relationship dynamics. This Omega is Immune to All Abilities doesn't have this issue. It's very blatant how the basis of social and political hierarchy is on the 'ability' of the person and how the three (total six) genders have stereotypes. Yet the fiction stays refreshing because we have leading personalities that don't fulfill the cliche norms of omega and alpha.

The omega protagonist is physically powerful, opinionated with an understanding of self, and admiringly canny (with a covert power to boot). His low EQ, matter-of-fact indifference to most things, and the subtle naiveness from a sheltered life offset his all-powerful might-making the character more endearing. The alpha ML is a perfect complement to the omega protagonist. He has a powerful ability that makes it hard to be close to others, yet he has a lively and easygoing personality toward those close to him. His respect and awe towards his partner while staying true to his shameless and joyful nature makes you really like this character.

This novel certainly kept in mind the age of the two protagonists and their reach of influence without exaggeration and making them all-powerful, which I appreciated. How they handled the final conflict and how the adults factored into the issue maintained believability. I both liked and disliked how they didn't dive much into the socio-political issue and how it will progress after the climax event.

The story's focus is the relationship progression between the protagonist couple. If you want to read something cute and fulfilling in warmth without delving into political intrigue or ABO dynamic-based issues, this is it! Omegaverse enthusiasts should check This Omega is Immune to All Abilities out.
