Still Saving The World Today (Switching Worlds) |
Still Saving The World Today (Switching Worlds) was a pretty quick read! For 39 chapters, you travel to 3 worlds, and it is delivered well. It starts as nothing new, and the worlds MC transmigrates to are familiar. The exchanges between MC and baby system 520 are funny.
The MC and the system are the main reasons I enjoyed this novel. Conversely, the ML is okay; he doesn't have much of a personality in the arcs. ML is your usual possessive gong, reeling on the border of Yandere. His character varies from one world to the next. MC is shamelessly thirsty, but he is calm and knows how to distance himself emotionally. It was very different from most system world hopping novels, where they do it just to get to their original world.
I liked the first two arcs, while the third was fast-paced and less engaging. The story has a few twists and is a mediocre novel. The author did well on the ending arc, and I thought the MC's reactions were easy to relate to. It was fresh (to me). It could have used more foreshadowing in the worlds before, but it's done okay. If you're looking for a light, world-hopping read, Still Saving The World Today (Switching Worlds) might be the one for you!
