I'm Not Shouldering This Blame

I’m Not Shouldering This Blame was surprisingly fantastic. It's been a while since I've read a light story with such an intense and exciting plot. The plot, world-building, and setting were unique and gripping.

Even though the courtship isn't as sweet as in the last BL or romance narratives I've read lately, it's still endearing and adorable. I love how MC and ML interact with each other. They're the perfect match made in heaven with their personalities and attitudes.

The MC's background is unknown, but he is shown as a pretty gray character just wanting to live a simple and comfortable life. The MC and ML had opposing starting points and flipped on the story's duration. The MC has a cold and emotionless personality. Still, he does have high IQ and EQ (as does the ML), which makes the romance and interactions between the two enjoyable rather than frustrating.

They are both brilliant people, so even when they later earn their powers, they can work together quickly and carefully to survive. Of course, the ML is the light to the MC's darkness, shown in many different ways. He is a perfect love interest for MC.

I’m Not Shouldering This Blame dragged me in, and while the MC and ML don't seem as OP as was claimed to be (what's with all the monsters immune to them), they are still plenty powerful, especially the MC. I love their trust in each other and love this story. Recommend.
