The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life

A definite masterpiece. If you like kingdom-building with a fantastic protagonist and like to see him become the top reasonably and justifiedly, you cannot miss out on this one. You must read at least 100 chapters to judge the story because the first few chapters barely flesh out the incredible journey the characters take us on.

The Heavenly Demon Can't Live a Normal Life frittered my marbles off. This story has one of the finest MCs I've read. Most Korean MCs tend to be dense and naïve, but this one got his priorities straight. The MC is such a person who, despite being OP works very hard, and the best part is that we even get to see glimpses of his past revealing why he became so powerful.

He's also astute and logical. The MC doesn't judge people based on what they say. He considers them based on his own experiences. He believes them based on his own experiences. From the start of this novel, the MC wasn't badass. There is no pointless romance in this novel that corrupts the MC.

The side characters are exceptionally well-written. Each has its part in the plot, and none are pointlessly left behind after the introduction. It is effortless to get attached to the characters in this novel due to their emotions and actions.

The antagonists are also well-written. They don't have dumb reasons for killing and being evil, and it is easy to sympathize with them.

The author has done a great job in worldbuilding. Many empires and kingdoms play essential parts in the plot. The world is constantly changing due to the MC meddling in political and physical affairs. In the later chapters, the MC interacts with other races, like elves and dwarves.

Whether you consider the plot, the well-detailed world, or the execution of the plot line, it is worth a thousand praise. Unlike other novels, things do not feel forced since it has this 'nonsensical sense' that makes everything feel connected, and it is hard to see it happen any other way. The MC, Roman Dimitry, embodied a 'ruthless protagonist' with a purpose. If you're looking for a 'ruthless protagonist' done right and with reason, Heavenly Demon Can’t Live a Normal Life is your novel.
