Silent Reading

Many readers praise Silent Reading / Mo Du highly. It's brilliant how the author weaved together several plot points without losing their sense of being believable. Priest gave the plot a challenging thought.

More plot-centric, but the interactions between the main CP are intense and are oh-so-good.

This story is one of the best-written novels, not just the plot and crime cases but the whole characterization and foreshadowing. I got goosebumps while reading this, and I'm not going to lie; my heart and stomach became so cold that I had to take a moment to breathe and continue this novel.

The plot is fantastic, with just enough suspense, humor, and gore to keep your attention. Characters and things in the first chapter become significant in the last few chapters. It's best to read Mo Du in one go. Otherwise, you'll need to remember the details.

You don't only get acquainted with the leading personalities, but the nominal characters cause you to feel so devastated because not everyone obtains their happily ever after. Priest made me feel so deeply, even for the passing characters. I am shocked and heartbroken.

Priest's characteristic humor and philosophical writing shine, as usual.

Mo Du is one of the best novels written by Priest. It made me cry, made me laugh, made me smile, made me heartbroken, and made me think over many minute things concerning life and people, but moreover, it made me fall in love with the book and the characters.
