My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness

The beginning of My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness was pretty exciting, and the dynamic between MC and ML was unique. MC and ML continually clash as MC defies the plot, attempting to foil ML's controlling ways.

However, after a while, the novel evolves into a one-way road as MC bulldozes over the unexpected cannon fodder who appears to be voluntarily leaping into his path from left to right. I lost track of the number of cannon fodder between the uncles, aunts, cousins, other entertainers, and incidental people coming out of the woodwork like someone had won the lottery.

Instead of this, the plot becomes increasingly haphazard and outrageous.

Despite this, this is a reasonably good series and a good read if you want something to devour while passing the time. However, do not expect quality writing because this is a face-slapping tale. Fortunately, it's a short time so you won't get bored. I hope the author elaborated more on the 'mythology' of the worlds at the end of the narrative, as this is fascinating.

But since My Husband is Suffering from a Terminal Illness is a 'romance' genre, it is more focused on each character's relationships and the depth of the feelings between the characters rather than the plot, so it is understandable.
