Transmigrating Into The Heartthrob’s Cannon Fodder Childhood Friend is one of the nicely done school life danmei novels in my humble opinion. Every chapter is a delight and the MC is not irritating.

The MC is powerful, physically and financially, but is ill and a little gullible. He is not like a white lotus nor like a pesky shou like other novels in their teens depicting school life. MC always lightens the ambiance and isn't an OP character; even though the ML is stony, he ain't a bland character.

There are a number of amusing and really endearing interactions between the MC and ML, as well as with the rest of the cast. Something to regard is that the two of them don't function on an unbalanced power dynamic. They crack their crises together; one person doesn't just wave his hand to resolve every trouble the other person has.

Transmigrating Into The Heartthrob’s Cannon Fodder Childhood Friend is slightly wobbly in the beginning because of what seems to be plot holes/superficiality in the script but as the narrative goes on, more and more is unraveled before going to the heart of the matter.

The manner in the story connects itself at the end and the rationale about what really transpired is impressive. This story is a Happy Ending.
