The Life After Marrying My Sworn Enemy

What a crazy, tumultuous ride! It hooked me enough to complete the story, but I suppose the writing was all over the place. The Life After Marrying My Sworn Enemy is basically a soap opera XD

People hold secrets from each other and make foolish decisions to thicken the drama. The writer is very clear about this, so the seasoned reader may have difficulty engrossing themselves fully. However, despite how bland the story can be, it was a strangely entertaining read. It's like a soap opera that you don't entirely like but want to know the ending.

It's not an award-winning, but a tolerable short read. The plot is evident and very cut and dry. It is purely concentrated on MC moving in life with a miserable background and (a laughable) string of misunderstandings.

Overall dramatically melodramatic. MC and ML's exchanges were, at the bare minimum, and the plot behind why ML pursued MC was really cliche. But I'm a sucker for tsundere lead. MC's likable in that he's headstrong and confident though I don't comprehend why he was still keen to become a pushover for others. It's kinda Cinderella-style. Nothing serious, but the pace is good, and the plot is sufficient to keep me curious till the end. Few characters seem unreasonable and exaggerated, but unfortunately, people like that exist. I think the novel would've been sounder if it was fleshed out a bit more, and we get to witness more growth with the main couple. Would've enjoyed seeing both MC and ML as they sweeten their connection.

The first 6 chapters' translations are not ideal and confusing, so bear with it. The rest of the chapters are passable to read, although still not good translations compared to the rest of the novels featured here. Note that starting on chapter 31, the English translations are not edited/proofread.
