I Really Am a Slag Shou!

I Really Am a Slag Shou! was bloody excellent -- quite possibly the finest QT story I have read thus far.

The MC is what cemented this novel in my heart. I actually love him to death. He's not a genius, a prodigy actor, nor does he have some secret talent that makes him OP -- he's 100% a young college student with his own strengths and weakness and a kind heart. The MC is human, and I find that so important after going through dozens of novels where the MC is some Gary Sue caricature that only exists in fiction.

Let me be clear: he is still very clever, beautiful, and all that jazz. However, neither of those traits excessively impacts his inherent characteristics as an innocent, good-natured kid. Despite learning how necessary finishing his missions is, he can't handle bringing about the misery of the ML, and he genuinely cares about the worlds he transmigrates into. In any case, it's a refreshing take from the other QTs where the MC is indifferent to the people around them.

He's also unintentionally humorous a lot of times, and his conversation with the System was riotous. The System was also hilarious, from being an informative and supportive friend to becoming an irresponsible and lazy overseer, only wanting the plot to move forward.

I will say that the ML was a bit dull, and I admire he never ONCE did anything without the MC's explicit consent. He's possessive but not oppressive. I could deem that he genuinely loved the MC and saw him as an equal (not as a thing that was his). Also, what he did at the end was so sweet and heartwarming.

Anyway, I Really Am a Slag Shou! is an absolute QT gem and a refreshing change from OP Gary Sue MCs and rapey overbearing MLs. There are amusing points that make you chuckle, the fluffy beat between ML and MC, and then the dog blood.
