Forced to Marry the Enemy Prince

I absolutely enjoyed reading Forced to Marry the Enemy Prince! I will definitely read it once again!

The novel is about a face con... or several face cons.

Our ML, the crown prince, falls for the stunning princess of the rival country, who is, in actuality, a prince dressed as a girl. The Prince hides his gender, but in the end, he runs out of excuses. Things get uneasy between the couple when the MC keeps avoiding ML's advances. When the truth finally gets exposed with the fact that ML married a man, he finally realizes how much he treasures his wife. Later, he helped him cover up his gender issue as MC's former fiancé came to Jin wanting to bring the MC back. In the end, they overcome all foes and come out victorious.

The story starts off as pretty intense, but in reality, a fluffy story. This is not your usual palace drama story. The ML's royal family is loving; everyone from the Emperor and Empress to the family members squabbles around like little kiddies. They are hilarious. I adore how they interacted with each other and how frankly superficial they were.

There is also no palace fighting. The narrative focus on the pair and how they grow up through challenging times. I liked the ML right away; he is pure.

Forced to Marry the Enemy Prince will not satisfy you if you enjoy a story with an immensely elaborate plot. It is excellent for what it is—entertainment. Anyone who fancies bl historical stories may go for it.

I relished every minute I spent reading it.
